Shipping and Local Delivery Services

Cozy & Content now offers local delivery and USPS shipping for online orders.
Below you’ll find all the details about how our delivery routes, shipping options, and checkout process work.


Local Delivery Service (Up to 8 Miles)

We offer local delivery within 8 miles of our store at:

33 Edgewood Avenue, Franklin, NC

Deliveries are made every Tuesday between 8:00 AM and noon.
After you place your order, we’ll confirm your estimated delivery window by email or text.


Local Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based on distance from the shop:

  • 0–2 miles: $3

  • 2.01–4 miles: $5

  • 4.01–8 miles: $10

If your address is outside the 8-mile radius, the local delivery option will not appear at checkout.


How Local Delivery Works at Checkout

When you choose local delivery:

  1. Enter the delivery address in the Shipping Address section.
    This can be your home, workplace, or the recipient’s address.

  2. If you’re sending a gift, use the Order Notes box to include instructions, such as:

    • “Please include a note that this is from Grandma.”

    • “Please do NOT say who it’s from.”

    • “There are dogs — please text before approaching.”

    • “Leave the package on the porch near the wooden bench.”

  3. We’ll contact you if we need clarification before the scheduled delivery time.


Delivery Day Information

  • Deliveries are made every Tuesday, between 8 AM and 12 PM.

  • We follow your instructions about knocking, texting, or leaving packages quietly.

  • All deliveries are handled by Cozy & Content staff — never third-party couriers.


In Case of Inclement Weather

For safety reasons, if roads are icy, flooded, or otherwise unsafe, local deliveries will be postponed until conditions improve.
We’ll notify you by email or text and reschedule for the next available safe day.


If No One Is Home

If the recipient isn’t home, we’ll leave your order in the safest spot available, based on your notes.
If weather or conditions make drop-off unsafe (heavy rain, loose dogs, etc.), we’ll contact you to make alternate arrangements.


USPS Shipping (Nationwide)

We now offer shipping through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight

  • Package size

  • Your shipping address

  • USPS real-time rates

We do not upcharge USPS postage — you pay the exact rate shown at checkout.

Orders that select USPS shipping will be mailed within 1–2 business days unless otherwise noted.
You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.
